East Kootenay are getting hit hard by a major snow storm.
Environment Canada has issued a warning for the Slocan Lake,
Arrow Lakes and the North and West Columbia but not for the
extreme southeast portion of the province, why? Because
Environment Canada is not expecting more than 10 cm required for
a snowfall warning.
Environment Canada says
there's going to be snow throughout the Kootenay Boundary,
thanks to a large frontal system coming in from the coast, and
the area could see 15 to 20 cm's by Friday night.
