TMTVNEWS.COM, Nelson BC --- The BC Telemark Ski Association is pleased to announce its Event and Race calendar for the winter 2012. The events include Telemark Festivals, initiations to Telemark Skiing, Telemark races and clinics, open to all ages, interests and skill levels.

On March 3^rd and 4^th at Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon B.C. there will be a Telemark Sprint Classic race: GS gates, ski skating and an optional jump, all in one race. A Telemark GS race as well: GS gates and optional jump. Along with the race the festivities will include instructor courses, Telemark clinics, and free skiing.

On March 24^th and 25th the Tele -Tribe goes to Fernie Alpine Resort for a first ever TeleCross and Telemark GS Race. Both will be fantastic events open to the public.

BC Telemark is a member of Telemark Ski Canada Telemark, a member of the FIS Telemark Committee, who is working hard to get Telemark into the Olympics. Participation in the events will support the Telemark Olympic Movement and community development.
